Eight From Men's And Women's Soccer Earn CSC Academic All-District

BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo State's Tapiwa Mushonga (Johannesburg, South Africa/Hilton College), Sam Gregson (Anglesey, Wales/Ysgol David Hughes), Emily Maczka (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North), Lorelei Right (Colchester, VT/Colchester), Gwen Jarosz (North Tonawanda, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield), Olivia Kilmer (Hammondsport, NY/Avoca), Isabella Melfi (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool), and Maria Colosimo (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) have been recognized for their outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments, earning a selection to the 2025 Men's and Women's Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
Hali Shabazz And Vadim Kiriakov Named Bengal Athletes Of The Week

BUFFALO, NY – Hali Shabazz (Buffalo, NY/St. Joe's) of the Buffalo State men's basketball team and Vadim Kiriakov (Tyumen, Russia/Altay Ust-Kamenogorsk) of the Buffalo State men's hockey team have been named Bengal Athletes of the Week, presented by UBMD Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Shabazz and Kiriakov were also named SUNYAC Athletes of the Week.
