Opportunity for Certification in Accessibility for Faculty and Staff
As the campus prepares for Title II ADA Web and Mobile Accessibility deadline of April 24, 2026, Student Accessibility Services (SAS) invites faculty and staff to further their understanding of accessibility.
Faculty and staff are invited to complete the International Association of Accessibility Professional (IAAP), Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). Content and support for learning to be a CPACC is available through Deque University, subscription to which is provided by SUNY.
This opportunity has been provided to the campus community as part of SUNY’s funding to SAS, to raise awareness, bridge the accessibility gap, and provide all students with the opportunity to successfully pursue their vocational goals.
SAS will fund for the cost of taking the certification examination when the participants are ready for it.
