On Saturday, September 27, Buffalo State University will host a full-day Homecoming chess tournament for players of all levels. There will be an unrated/open section (for less experienced players) and a rated section (for more experienced players). The tournament takes place in Bacon Hall 115 and 117, with break rooms on the second floor of Bacon. Please arrive at 9:30 a.m. Be prepared to stay all day. Open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and local chess aficionados.

Four or five rounds (time permitting) will be played, with 30 minute clocks. Food will be available during the day. Proceeds support the Buffalo State Chess Club.

Cost: $5 for the rated section. Free for unrated.
